Hello,
My Name is Craig Cline, and I live near Red
Deer, Alberta, Canada. I currently own two
Daughters of EXCELL CHOCOLATE DELIGHT, and
have always wanted to have a show dog, but
either work, life or something else always
seemed to take priority. Well last fall one
of my Excell daughters had a puppy I could
just not seem to part with, A nice brown boy
that just had that personality that caught
your attention every moment you were around
him. So one thing led to another and after a
short visit with KEJA Kennels ( Ken and
Jacquie Fargey) I was talked into taking him
to a show. Fast forward 1 month later, I now
have my very first home grown Canadian
Champion thanks to Jacquie holding the
rein...... Jacquie told me she has seen many
of your dogs over the years, and that they
show very well and have a natural talent for
showing off in the ring, and Max as I call
him (CLINES GIVING IT ALL) seemed to have
that same quality.
So now I have a new dilemma. I own this
wonderful Canadian champion, that is closely
related to all my browns. So I thought I
would send you an email to see if you have
anything available for sale that might fit
into my pack lol. I Believe you are in Texas
I think your website said, so not sure if
that is too far of a flight or not, but if
you are unable or do not have anything
available, do you know anyone else closer
that breeds browns that would also
compliment the lines you have done such a
great job on. I will also attach a picture
with this email, let me know what you think.
Thanks for time
Craig Cline and MAX

Subject: Sister the star
Hi Gloria, Our new puppy,
"Sister" is absolutely perfect! Not only is she
beautiful, healthy, and smart, she also has a wonderful
personality. She is the total package!
Sister is full of energy and very playful. She
keeps us laughing with her antics and acrobatics.
She knew her name very quickly, and learns everything
very naturally. She has had zero potty mistakes in
the 7 days and 6 nights that I have had her. She
really loves to go outside. She is sleeping very
well. She is enjoying her food and her digestion
is great. She has loved everyone she has met (and
of course everyone adores her). The vet was
impressed by her in every way. We will keep you
updated on her milestones. Thank you very much for
sending us such a special girl. She is home now
and running the show. Tonya

Gloria and Scott,
Just a quick note to let you know that I am still
waiting on my tax refund which I was told should get
to me the first or second week of April. I
appreciate your patience and working with me on the
payment of the puppy “Georges”. I just have to tell
you how much I LOVE this dog! He is a perfect
little companion. He hasn’t grown too much but he
will for sure be oversized and sturdily built but
still refined enough. His eye staining pretty much
cleared up doing pretty much nothing but regular
cleaning and some food supplements. He is AWESOME
and I couldn’t be happier with him. He fetches and
loves to go for walks with other dogs and we are
working on commands other than sit.
I hope you are doing well and that you got either
your own car back or a new one! As soon as I have
the funds to cover that check I will let you know!
I can even replace it with a cashier’s check when I
get the tax return if you want; whatever you are
most comfortable with.

I still live just north of Atlanta. First, I want to
congratulate you on Bell of the Ball!! What a feat!! I
do so admire your work. It sure has paid off with these
wonderful poodles. Madeline is 1/2 inch too tall to
show, and lately I've been thinking of breeding her. It
will probably be next winter or so, so I want to do some
research and get recommendations for a sire. I do not
want to undo any of your accomplishments!!! Do you have
any suggestions for me? I've been looking on several
websites, AKC , Poodle CLub of America. Madeline has a
gorgeous face, great coat. Wish she had more angulation
in the rear, and a bit smaller so I could show her. So,
any guidance you can give would be of greatly
appreciated. I'm sure you can hear the thunderous
applause from the grateful owner of Excell poodles!!
Continued success with your talents.
With great respect,
Marie Hubert

Hi Gloria
I really want her, but my husband doesn’t want any more dogs. I have
another poodle in addition to the one from Guy and Jenny. So, I’m afraid I
will have to let her go. But, I wanted to tell you how wonderful our
Bayli is and tell you what an excellent job we think you have done
breeding these dogs. My Bayli is just like the puppy. When she was
shipped air cargo, she was not a bit afraid, and was very curious and
self-confident. She did grow larger than thought. She weighs about 5
lbs and is 10 in tall. However; She has such dainty, petite features
and feet, an excellent coat . She is a beautiful poodle. She is very
social and loves having company and makes everyone feel right at home.
If you sit down, she is immediately in your lap and is very loving. I
really get a kick out of her when we take a walk. There is a show dog
in there, as she doesn’t walk, but prances down the street with her tail
high. She’s very healthy. So, just wanted to let you know how much we
appreciate such a good puppy.,….. I will refer anyone I know who is
looking for a poodle, and you may use this letter (from a satisfied
customer) if you like. Our friends and family think she is a perfect
dog. That also is a great price for such a quality animal.
Thank you,
Mary

I just saw your website. I have a 5 yr old female black toy poodle who
is the love of my life. Her paternal grandparents are CH Excell
Expresso and CH Excell Victoria. I was thrilled to get to see pictures
of them. Her father is Excell Angelic Melody To Abba of High Standard
Poodles. I bought her on a pet contract and so she has been spayed but
when she grew up I wished so much that I had been able to show her. She
is absolutely gorgeous. She has an incredible prancing gait and super
thick coat. She is jet black ... solid. I love her to pieces!!!
I just wanted to let you know that even offspring you haven't bred
yourself continue to have the terrific traits you have worked so hard to
improve.
Thanks for all you do. The puppies you have on the website look grand
as well!

Subject: Graci
Hello Gloria,
I just spoke with you on the phone praising you and Graci! We do love
her so much! She is quite the spoiled baby and rules the roost around
here. I can not imagine not having her. Thank you so much! You said that you would send me addresses or links to some catalogs
where I can get things instead of going to Petco or the pet store. Is there such a thing as a smaller shaver for little faces? Maybe I
don't need one but I do not want to cut her if I decide to give it a try
myself. What about a brush? I use a wire one right now. Just let me know of anything you recommend!
Graci went thru her first period last month...wow, I did not realize
she would get it so soon. She didn't like the diaper she had to wear at
first but she got used to it!
Can't wait to meet you when we get to Idaho. Probably in the Spring!
Have a wonderful week-end & I look forward to your email!!

Dear Mrs Catalino:
First off let me say, your dogs are just Beautiful. I am very
impressed with the sincerity of your love for the breed. I have had
poodles all my life. And yours are truly remarkable in confirmation. I
am most impressed.
I see you have a few puppies for sale at this time. You have a
lovely little black girl at the bottom of your nursery page.
Is she still available? If not, do you have anything coming up in a
black/white? Female.
Thanks

We bought one of your babies in December 2003. His
name is Sammie, he is the love of our lives. I have to remind myself
that he is a dog, I think of him as a tiny person. He is the smartest
"dog" we have ever seen. He understands so many, many words. Since
we live in snow country, we have litter box trained him. He also
"goes" outside when the snow isn't too deep. He knows to squat in
the litter box and to lift his leg outside. He loves us
unconditionally, as we do him. When we have groomed ,he is very well
behaved. The groomers always comment on how perfectly proportioned
he is, his thick coat, and how beautiful he is, as well as what a good
boy he is. His parents are Guy and Shelley. I would never buy a Poodle
from anyone but you. You truly have the "best", they have the looks,
the personality, the whole package. Thank you so much, for your love
and dedication to produce the BEST OF THE BEST.

Well, the shyness wore off about 10 minutes after we got home, and we
are madly in love!!!
She is every bit as loving as you described- what is so surprising is
that she took to me in mere moments! I got down on the rug with her,
and no sooner, did she start licking my face and climbing all over
me. What is more gratifying than the love of a good dog, I ask???!!!
Thank you for my lovely new daughter!

I know how hard it must have been to part with this little angel.
She is a most incredible puppy- it is amazing how attached we have
become in one day!!!
She is so dainty and regal when she walks- we went to the park this
evening, and she was turning heads with every step!
I will check the invoice- I think the shipping was $126- and I will
send you the balance.
Thank you for this remarkable little person, and I know it will be
small consolation to them, but please tell your family that she is
loved and cherished, and will be very well cared for.

Hi Gloria!! We got JJ
from you back in April 2002. He looks just like all your puppy
photos! He's the most beautiful, smart, and "human" poodle we
ever had!! Just to let you know he's been a gem to our
family--healthy and lovable and very, very intelligent. In
fact he was just climbing up on the desk (from my lap) to see the
puppies a little closer!! God bless you--Happy New Year.

Hi
Gloria,
I saw
your website and I am thrilled to see some of your recent photos of
your “offspring”. About 10 years ago I purchased a little sweetheart
we named White Lace (I believe she is from Excel’s line) I call her
Lacy. She is fabulous and the best poodle I have ever owned!
One of
these days, I would like to come by to see the puppies. Where are
you located and what is your phone number?
Thank
you,
Nikki

Dear
Gloria,
Our
little Madeline is a perfect example of why one should buy from
you, a “Show” breeder. Your intelligent breedings have gifted us
with an exceptionally affectionate and beautiful puppy. She
exceeds my highest expectations. It was love at first sight. I
opened the shipping case to cuddle a perfectly groomed black puppy
who bonded immediately. What a doll she is! She is calm, loving,
cooperative, playful and smart. It will be so much fun to show
her as she prances and stacks like a champ. The vet said I “did a
GREAT job picking a puppy.” I didn’t tell him I bought her sight
unseen!! Your impeccable reputation is well deserved. Your
labor of love is so deeply appreciated by this family; I am
exuberantly recommending Exell !
Thank you
from the bottom of our hearts. God bless you and your Excell-ent
poodles. This is a match made in heaven.
Sincerely,
Marie

Let me tell you how wonderful Riley is. You
have the best quality of toy poodles that I have seen in quite
some time.
Having owned and shown one of the top toy
poodles in the U.S. in the past, I feel that I am very qualified
to make that statement.
Riley is a love and absolutely brilliant, in
fact, he is helping me type this. He already knows how to sit,
stay, and down. He is very bright about learning to potty outside and sleeps the night through.
His color is outstanding and everybody that
sees him falls in love with him. He has become my constant
companion and loves to ride in the car and go visit friends. When you have
another one available, I want him. Riley wants a playmate and I
want another, beautiful, loving, healthy, happy poodle.
Once again, thanks for letting Riley come into
my life. I'll send pictures soon.
Best regards, Janice and Robin

Subject: Toy Poodles!
Please post. I have owned my Excell stud toy
male ABBY since 2000. I have bragged about him all his life!
His claim to fame was he was the littermate to his male sibling
who won the 6 month puppy group at Poodle Club of America in
1999. For those who have no idea the Poodle Club of America has
exhibitors from poodle fanciers from all over the world.
Usually 1500 exhibitors compete. In my opinion your career has
been devoted to raising the BEST quality toy poodles the world
has seen. Your dogs are the absolute best. Your prices are
reasonable for the quality received. I still have fourteen
poodles on premise ten of which are toy sized. All retired all
very much loved. Here is what i really have to say. Anyone who
buys a dog from you is buying a piece of art. A dog so beautiful
that everyone will stop to talk to you. Careful your dog
doesn't get stolen! Abby has aged very well. He has never turned
grey. His eyes are clear with no signs of cataracts. He still
has that wonderful prance and thick curly black coat. He is
still a vision to watch. At this time in my life i have a job to
take care of the remaining older poodles on premise.
All my dogs are old and until they become
poodle angels I am a guardian to each of my beloved Pets. All my
Excell dogs have been favorites. Sadly Excell Adoni passed last
year, very sad that Excell May Snowflurry aka Sugar died May 8th
2008, but Excell Melody Symphony to Abba aka Abby is going to
live a very long life with me of course! Oh I forgot to mention
that Excells Tiffany was a gift from me to my sister and she
reigns at Tybie Island Inn on Tybie Island Georgia.
Keep doing your breeding. Smart people
purchase your dogs! I am a very satisfied customer. One day I
will be back. Thanks so much for bringing me so much joy.
Hugs from Cindy Jones Poodle fancier of
Atlanta

Subject: You are the best!
Hi Gloria
Thank you for your hard work
perfecting toy poodles. I am fortunate to have acquired a
beautiful, white toy poodle from Cher Smith. My Lacey is
out of "Gracee" from Excell Toy Poodles and Bryce. Lacey
looks so much like Gracee. She has the exact Excell
personality you describe. Lacey will run like the wind for
hours. She is always happy to snuggle and cuddle. It was
my good luck to locate Cher. She is a wonderful,
straightforward lady. Cher had so much patience with me.
At times, she probably wanted to kill me. I was so anxious
due to a poodle I had in the past who was totally
misrepresented. Out of the litter of 4, Cher made the
decision regarding which one was best for me. Cher could
not have chosen better. I learned that reputable breeders
are far more knowledgeable making decisions to match people
with dogs than vice versa. Lacey is the most beautiful
poodle. I live in Los Angeles. Lacey goes everywhere with
me. People always ask "Where did you get her?". I'm sorry
to say there are some scroungy, awful looking poodles around
here that unscrupulous breeders sell for $2,500.00 to
$5,000.00. I believe they come from puppy mills. One of my
friends bought one. She ended up spending close to
$10,000.00 on vet bills and the dog died Those dogs are not
close to the quality Lacey has. In addition to her
fantastic "Excell" personality, Lacey is great at obedience.
She is very food motivated and easy to train. Lacey is
also a fantastic watchdog. She is not yappy or bark
unnecessarily. She has trained my husband very well. Lacey
goes to him when he sits on the sofa. She will pull on his
pants leg until he gets up. Lacey then "herds" him like a
sheepdog to the kitchen for a treat.
At first, I thought I wanted
a teacup poodle who would weigh about 3 lbs full grown.
Thank goodness, Cher set me straight on that. Lacey is
insize. She is about 9 1/2 inches and 5 lbs. Her size is
ideal. She has a beautiful face, short back, long legs, and
tight, small feet. Lacey's pigment is black, black, black.
She does not even have 1 light toenail. Lacey could surely
have been a show dog but I got her spayed. However, she has
far more important work to do. Her job is being a loyal,
constant companion. Lacey makes me laugh and smile. She
has brought joy to the entire family. Lacey is one year old
now.
Breeders like you and Cher
perform a wonderful service for all poodle lovers
everywhere. In addition to bettering the breed and showing,
you provide beautiful, healthy, intelligent toy poodles to
people like me as companions. You truly change peoples
lives.

Subject: Caleb in Ohio
Hi Gloria,
I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday and everything is going
good with the pookids!
Caleb is wonderful and I can't imagine ever being
without him, he is my devoted little best friend. We love him dearly. He is
getting pretty fuzzy though and it's time to choose a groomer for him. I have
given him a couple of baths just to keep him fresh smelling and I use the
slicker brush and comb on him about every other day. I brush his teeth too. He
especially likes the chicken flavored doggie tooth paste, however he hates it
when I bath and brush him....I'm very gentle and yet he squirms and whines. I
think he will do better for the groomer...I'm sure he is just taking advantage
of Mommy, since he is training me so well with everything else up until now.
His personality has really come out in the last 2 weeks. He is quite the little
sock monkey and collects every sock that hits the floor, he drags them off to
his doggie bed where he gives them a sound shaking and then drags them about
some more until they surrender. We have all laughed ourselves silly at his
sweet little hijinks. Caleb has never broken his housetraining and is very good
at communicating his needs to us. We are learning to speak poodle quite well.
I am attaching a picture of him, it's a nice close-up with my husband holding
him, it was taken July 3. I will be calling you this week to talk about any
suggestions you have for a groomer. Know that Caleb is much loved and getting
tons of attention here. He is so sweet and just the best boy ever. By the way,
he is scheduled to be neutered on July 15. I am using the best vet in our area
(I bullied the staff into an appoint with him, he isn't seeing any new pets
since he has taken another young vet into his practice and all the new pets go
to the new vet) , I could have taken him to any one of a number of qualified
vets but I know that Dr Norvell is the best around. He will do a good job on
Caleb.
I'll be calling you soon, Have a great week, Tracey Parm & Caleb too!

Hi
Gloria, Hope all is well. This is the xmas picture I just got back. Ii hope
you can see what she looks like. i can always blow it up and resend it. The grommer gives her a great cut. We are trying to get her to keep her bow
in her little top knot. Tallulah was 2 on Dec 4th. she is a whopping
3.11lbs. Spencer turned 3 on Sept. 20th and weighs in at
3.8lbs. Tallulah is such a delight. she loves chasing the squirrels in the yard and loves rolling in the leaves. Today we have a little snow flurries
and she is sitting in the window totally fascinated by the whole
scene. She is a cuddle bug. She is in my lap unless Spencer beats her to it, then she sits on the back of couch behind me. She loves everyone and
everyone loves her. Thank you so much for her, she is a treasure. Ii will be going to FL. on Jan.
1st and I would love another little girl from you. I have never seen
Tallulah when her tail was not up. I want another black girl or silver. Take care Diana

Sent: Mon, Apr 5, 2010Hi Gloria,
Good to see your website! Marcello is so
beautiful, great temperament and a champion in every sense
of the word. We recently visited my sister's house
and everyone loved and held him. He is very loved!
He runs like the wind, enjoying the wind in his hair and
stands so regal. His features are delicate with long
graceful legs and his antics are adorable. I hope to
send you a picture soon. Thank you again.
Love,
Tina

Gloria and Scott,
All is well!! Little "Tal"
has settled in perfectly. He is such a sweet little boy
with a cute shape, gorgeous coat, and an irresistible
personality. We love him dearly already! Thank you
again for all you do to provide such wonderful pets!
Nancy
P.S. I am still watching the mail
for the pet catalog. I will be in contact when it
arrives to talk to you before I order items for
grooming. Thank you, Gloria - you did such a super job
grooming the puppy that I can get by for now!

Hi Gloria and Scott,
I just had to share the
good news with you two. I took little "Tal" to the
vet for his first exam, and he aced the exam! He's an
A++ boy, as we knew!!! Everyone there wanted to hold
him, and he charmed them all with his cute personality
and antics. Everyone was so impressed with him. I
prayed that the Lord would send me to just the right
vet, and guess what? The vet told me that he is a
poodle lover and has 2 poodles himself. The wife of
the vet happened to come in while I was there, and she
immediately fell in love with little "Tal". So that's
a quick update to let you know that all is well with
the puppy here in cold and snowy MN. I know that
Thanksgiving is over, but I want to THANK YOU for ALL
you do to produce such healthy pets!!! You are
appreciated!
Fondly, Nancy
P.S. I am still waiting for the
KV pet catalog in the mail...I will call you when it
comes to get info. about grooming tools!
